Reitz for President!

What is the reason for civil unrest in America today? Let's go back in time and take a look at what made America a great place to live, and what inspired leaders like George Washington to rebel and form a great new nation.

Before 1776 our leaders were living in what is now the UK (United Kingdom). With all the civil unrest between Ireland and England, I don't know where they get this name, but that is not important. Before 1776, the English king Edward wanted one church (the church of England). He was heavily taxing all his subjects to the point where they couldn't afford to live there anymore. Is this story sounding familiar? A group of revolutionary thinkers and leaders formed a band of rebel resistance that formed a new nation. A nation built on the principals of "FREEDOM!" Civil rights were guaranteed by their version of the constitution. Freedom was pure and free back then.

In the post 911 era in America, ALL Americans are being treated as terrorists. I'm not a terrorist. I'm a law abiding citizen who is trying to run a small business and I am being smothered by taxes and laws that aren't upheld to protect my freedom! Our original constitution before it was ever amended was put in place to protect and guarantee certain religious and other basic freedeoms that have since been denied us by out current leaders. Now our country is being run by lawyers and career politicians who are out of touch with what Americans want and need.

A classic example of this is unemployment. If there are 200 million Americans in America and 10% of them are out of work, that makes 20 million Americans who are unemployed. The government will release some rediculous statement that they created 18,000 jobs this month. Are you kidding me! That doesn't put a dent or a scratch in the number of unemployed people in America. They are too busy fighting wars and trying to tell other people how to run their countries to sit down and figure out how to solve the current economic crisis here! You don't tell anyone else how to run their country when you are exploiting your citizens and turning your country into a third world nation.

My foreign policy will be that I have no foreign policy! Let those people kill each other, if that's what they want to do. I would turn my attention inward and try to fix what's wrong in this country and get out of world politics. The main problem in America, as I see it, is a focus that is turned outside of this country! We have to turn the focus back inward and take care of things here, before it's too late. One thing that is wrong with this country is the fact that the criminal justice system has been perverted by lawyers and career politicians to exploit every day hard working Americans.

Let me say that I have a criminal record, so these statements are facts gained from very painful personal experiences. First of all politicians create laws and empower police officers to enforce these laws. If you are arrested in PA, you start to build yourself a criminal "score." Your score is based on the number of times that you have been arrested and the seriousness of your offense. (summary, misdemeanor, felony) This is VERY wrong! You are considered a REPEAT offender whether or not you are accused of commiting the same crime or something different. This causes you to be repeatedly punished as a repeat offender, no matter what you've done or are accused of doing.

Now let's say that you've been arrested. Did you hire a lawyer, a car sales man, or just a well dressed criminal? The first thing that your lawyer wants to do is go to the DA and play "let's make a deal." Is s/he even assuming that you are innocent? The assumption is SUPPOSED to be that you are innocent, but they want to just cut you a deal and sell your integrity and your ethics to the DA for the best deal that they can get. Try to follow this analogy. Your defense lawyer is dressed like a car salesman. S/he is the salesman, the DA is the sales manager, and the judge is the owner of the dealership. The lawyer gets your statement about what you want as an outcome, they go to the DA to try to get you a DEAL,(plea bargain that ain't no bargain) then if everyone agrees on the deal; they have to run it by the judge for the final approval. Does this sound like a criminal prosecution or a car sale? The trade in is your integrity, ethics, and freedom for probation, fines, costs, and don't leave the state for a year or two. They trap you in the state for a chance to arrest you again. Now the local police know who you are and they are going to try to get you again, because they aren't enforcing any real laws; their job is to create revenue for the state off of you going on and staying on some kind of probation.

Let's look at the law enforcement aspect. Speed traps are just that. They are meant to trap you into fines, costs, and possibly points on your driver's license. There are signs all over the state that say that you can't afford a DUI, but they make alcohol available in the grocery store. If you dangle a carrot in front of a horse, is he going to eat it? If you put alcohol in a grocery store, is the clerk going to be responsible for a drunk going out and killing someone on the road? Does anyone really ever ENJOY ALCOHOL RESPONSIBLY? If the cops can't catch you for DUI, substance abuse, beating your old lady, "J" walking, or something else; they aren't generating money for the state, so maybe they go out and roust a bar looking for probation violaters. THESE THINGS ARE ALL CONTRARY TO A FREE SOCIETY! A cops job is no longer to protect and serve, it is to harass and generate revenue for the state and federal government off of the sweat and toil of everyday Americans! POLITICIANS make it possible with new legislation and constitutional AMENDMENTS. JUDGES are so jaded by the things that they see every day, that they can't separate the good guys from the bad guys, the cops just don't care, because they have a job and they ride around in nice cars and they don't have to pay for the gas. IT'S A FREAKIN' MESS!

YOU CAN'T ENCOURAGE ECONOMIC GROWTH BY CAUSING ECONOMIC HARDSHIP! The politicians have been trying to cut government spending by closing post offices, talking about ending Saturday deliveries, and laying off workers. Black Friday is approaching where retailers count their sales for Christmas. Yes Christmas is swiftly approaching, now that the weather is turning cold. If you lay off several hundred thousand people, who is going to be out shopping? If they are laid off are they going to be able to live on their savings and find another job? Is your solution to economic recovery to cause economic hardship? Are these people educated or are they idiots?

The only solution is to get men who are just there to be popular, like President Obama out of office and put in someone who is more "real" and in touch with the current economical and social tide in THIS country. Write Larry V Reitz Jr in as a presedential candidate and get some attention turned toward what is wrong with America and help me to correct things before the current politicians are successful at turning America into a third world country! If you want to turn America back into a FREE country, write in my name on your ballot for President as the right candidate for the job. I don't expect to win, but I would like to bring some REAL attention to what is going on in America. Thank you!
